要英文写作时，你永远都面对着这三个困扰：
1. 我的文法对吗？2. 表达得够清楚吗？3. 我写得好不好？
只要融会贯通这三步骤，确实把握这些写作诀窍，就能够写出道道地地，原汁原味的「英文作文」。

英文写作的原则，如同人生其他的定理：原则不变，一以贯之！在求职或申请学校时，需要写履历自传，但怎么写呢？还是要回到英文的沟通习惯：重点先讲，细节随后！运用「三句话」原则，可归纳出写履历的三项基本要素：

ABC重要的话：求职的目标
ABC具说服力的细节：有利的学经历
ABC令人印象深刻的总结：个人化的特点
ABC重要的话：求职的目标 （Objectives)

从雇主的角度来看一封履历，ABC重要的话当然是你求职的目的是什么？要找的工作性质与内容是什么？是不是切合雇主的需要？因此在一开始交代姓名与基本联络资料之后，就可以直接说明申请工作的目标。因为是ABC重要的话，所以要简洁有力，重点清楚，ABC不要超过三项，每项1-2行。

以下是一位出版社编辑的求职目标：

Objectives

• Position sought: a Chief Editor’s role in a publisher where I can maximize my editorial and marketing experiences to develop integrated product portfolios for various language learning publications

• Job responsibilities: buying book rights from abroad, seeking potential writers,managing editorial process, writing copies for products, and creating marketing strategies

• Career goal: “to Bring World Languages to Taiwan and Bring the Chinese Language to the World.”

ABC具说服力的细节: 有利的学经历（Education and Experiences）

既然有了清楚的求职目标，接下来就要提出有力的证明，详细交代过去相关的学经历，佐证自己是有能力完成工作的ABC人选。因此求职目标之下，可进一步说明相关的各项砖业经历（Professional Experiences）。请注意，条列砖业项目的原则仍然是重点在前：ABC重要、ABC相关的先说！

各项工作经验的说明，必须简洁扼要，条理一致。先交代公司雇主、职位职称、雇用时间之后，可以分项条列的方式凸显重点。以下提供同一编辑的部分砖业经历及学历说明，作为範例。请注意，学历和经历相辅相成，两者的先后顺序可就申请的目标来决定。如果是申请学校，ABC要把学历放在前面（请参考 14.1 节申请学校的说明）。

Professional Experiences
ABC Publishing Co., Taipei, Taiwan Editor June 2009 –

• Propose and develop language materials for English, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean,and French learning.

• Review and buy rights of foreign publications and create Traditional Chinese or bilingual editions.

• Work with book writers, editors and illustrators and create language learning materials for different levels.

• Manage book publication process, from editing, proofreading, publishing to marketing.

DEF Publishing Co., Taipei, Taiwan English Editor September 2007 – May 2009

• Translated articles and edited GEPT/TOEIC test preparation series.

• Planned and designed Freshman English and Freshman English Listening and Speaking textbook series for vocational colleges in Taiwan.

• Delivered presentations to school teachers and received adoptions from school.
